Under No roof camp

Surely, the Under No Roof Camp provided me with a all new experience of getting into a situation that is familiar yet different altogether. The familiar experience will be that of sleeping under no proper shelter which I have experience through Scouting and Astronomy, yet, it is not familiar because I am sleeping with those who are more inexperience than myself, thus, things does not go according to what i really wish, deep inside.

Me reason for the camp is actually to prep myself to the upcoming ASPIRE as well as testing out my body to certain situation, mainly how to clear sleep hormones in the fastest way possible, how to "fire up" from a sedentary mode and keep it there. Sometimes, it is necessary to possess some of these skills which might be useful in life.

In a way, I saw how "normal" people react under a certain condition, mainly those of the outdoor survival situation. Most of them will whine and complain and most often than not compare their current condition to those that they are use to. In this regard, i will actually think about the worst off condition that i have been through in order to push on. To bring the best out of myself.

Resting cycles is also another important learning point as I found out that missing a certain resting cycle will cos a person's judgment and language skills to go haywire. In another way, I found out that by doing certain stuff, one can remain awake but i would not delve on that for the time being as it involve some illegal action.

Although my group did not win anything for this competition, I think we can become better person by empathizing the real needs of the people who is living in the slums and such. My visits last time round although better than the condition that we had in the camp, it is still better not to assume that living conditions cannot get worst.

Hmm....anything else....oh ya....I think that Jasmine is a nice girl though....but i must always remind myself the purity of purpose. Oh bothers....
